A New Little Brother

We want to introduce you to Brooklyn.

Brooklyn is a handsome young Chinese Shar Pei who was waiting in a shelter for his forever family to find him.

Now he is in a safe and loving home sharing duties with his big sister Lola. There are lots of things that he needs to learn and Lola will teach him. The boy doesn't know how to play, so that is the first lesson and it's already begun.

Brooklyn is adjusting well to family life and with a teacher like Lola, he'll do just fine.

  1. Bravo to Brooklyn, Lola and their humans. It just breaks my heart that there are dogs who don't even know how to play.

  2. You are so right that the older dog will teach the newcomers all they need to know. We had a 10 year old mini schnauzer who brought up two pups for us, turned them into little storm troopers, who did like to play, but when Mom barked, They listened!

    Cheers,

  3. How sad that he doesn't know how to play - really makes you wonder about his previous life. But no, on to the future for a very happy life.

  4. Hi. This is Pat (Blog Mom) posting in Lola's name. We all want to thank you for this lovely welcome. Lola and Brooklyn are bonding pretty well already. He just loves her, of course. She has started to look for him if she doesn't know where he is, so it's going well. We just feel so lucky to have found another delightful dog. He's just so sweet, loving and polite. We're thrilled to bits with this little guy.

    Thanks again, so much,

    Pat
